  4.  @shizuokaBLUES  Exactly. English will help them communicate with tourists from all over the world, not just Americans. Most Chinese have years of English in school, so between them and India that's probably 2 billion English speakers. There are English speakers from virtually every country. I'd say something like half the world speaks some degree of English.

  8. That's def part of it. Also, the Japanese central bank is a big reason for the weak yen, due to how they monetize the national debt and control interest rates.
