  2. Get what they deserve. When they act just and abide by the same laws they enforce, people will respect them. When they steal people's money at gunpoint without warrant, evidence or trial (civil asset forfeiture), get qualified immunity creating a 2 tiered society, don't get punished the same as civilians when they are on the rare chance prosecuted and convicted, all while abusing the public trust they deserve all the hate they get.
