  1. Transformational change must come soon. It seems to me that the windows are closing very fast on humanity. I don't think that this is a hyperbolic, over-the-top view. Whether it's the Climate Crisis, right-wing phoney populism, blind technocracy, religious fundamentalism, militaristic economies, etc., people of goodwill have got to get it together and come together to turn these trends around. There may not be a next time or a bright tomorrow of an optimist's dream. Europe went thru centuries of the Dark Ages and there's no reason that the world couldn't do the same here and now.
