  1. I'm hoping these two debates will separate the progressive seed from the non-progessive chaff. Gabbard could do very well against Warren which would be a good thing. It's good that Warren and Sanders are not toe-to-toe just yet. I'm hoping that Sanders, Yang and Williamson will have a sort of common ground against the others. Remember that most of the others, in each debate, are likely spoiler or sham candidates (whether or not the candidate is in on the scam is a mute point).

  6. If it's been fixed and if the process of assignment was as simple as reported, then every campaign rep that was there at the meeting is in on the fix. Or some or all of the reps are really stupid.

  7. I wish that the League of Women Voters would return to debate sponsorship. When it was in charge, the debates were less sideshow and had more substance. At least that's how I remember it.

  10. Chuck Todd and Rachael Maddow are going to be a big problem for progressives. Considering that the format will likely favor excessive control by these moderators, Sanders, Gabbard, Yang and Williamson will have to be on their toes.
