@jocamadad I'm in the UP, near Marquette, and when they redrew the districts what they did was put six counties in charge of all of Michigan. The areas around Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids now tell the other 77 counties what to do. So you're at the top of the mitten then?

@jocamadad Gretchen can pass whatever law she wants now, because those six counties have far more power than they should have. She made it so the rest of us do not matter, and they can do whatever they want. Well the UP wants independence, I am hearing it more often lately. They do not want to support the bad ideas and policies coming from Lansing. I can escape if I need to, sell my land and move somewhere not run by their ilk... but thanks to what she has done, every other county in Michigan has to follow what they do. I'm not a fan of the d's, and Bergman is on thin ice with what he has been doing recently.
