  1. Ah my young friends... the other man does not have to be better than you in any way.... He only need APPEAR to be better than you in some way, which can be as simple as novelty. I've been the other man more than enough to know. They really only need the opportunity.

  2.  @lamentate07  both of my ex's and many GFs left for what they thought were better men than me. Then they discovered those men were either nowhere near as valuable/competent as I am, or they were just hittin it and quittin it. So if they want to go, I let them... and there is no coming back.

  3.  @lamentate07  damn straight. No second chances. I saw a podcast yesterday where some guy said men and women do better when they are together. That has not been my experience. My life was worse, I had less money, more wasted time, infinitely more stress, and life was far less enjoyable when I had a woman in it. Its like having an old fiberglass boat that costs money every day just to have it around, costs you a huge pile of money to get rid of it, and has less value every day until its worthless. They provide no benefit, they are an expense, and they can take everything you own on a whim and the courts will reward her for abhorrent behavior. Sounds like a great deal, doesn't it? I have gotten the not all women are like that thing several times over the last couple months.. Nah, they ARE ALL LIKE THAT... but they want their free ride so they claim to be different. If they were just honest about it, I would have more respect for them. If they had any concept of honor, loyalty, and faithfulness I would appreciate them more. Instead we get demands, notions of entitlement, and its only a matter of time until she cheats and runs off. Most guys simply don't know she is cheating. So where is the incentive? I don't see it.

  4.  @lamentate07  I had one I was seeing for a while to went out of her way for me, and she actually paid for things. She took me to concerts, movies, and shows, she usually paid for food when we ate. It was all well and good as long as I was building my house and shop. When I didn't get to a planned upgrade to the house because of weather back in 2018, she changed. She lives 7 hours away, and when I went there to visit, I had nothing to do but watch TV or do repairs on her house while she was at work. It cost me time to be there, when she was here I could get things done and still spend time with her. We are still friends and talk often, but I do not need all the negatives that women bring with them today. Nagging, stress, complaining, expenses, leaving me 6" of bed to sleep on.... no nookie is worth all of that.

  5.  @hellaspoicey2280  he doesn't even have to impress her, he simply has to have novelty. Familiarity breeds contempt. Females, and many males today, crave constant excitement from the new shiny thing. Its not worth the effort to continue jumping through hoops and putting on a show just to keep a woman around, she ends up resenting you because she knows you.
