My ex was trying to use spicy time as a means of getting me to obey. When that failed because I ignored her almost entirely in that regard, the next step was irrational arguments, scratching, ripping my shirt, hitting with things like coffee mugs and whatever else that could be picked up and hurled, and coming after me with knives. I wasn't fast enough in noticing a couple times and got some cuts. We had two kids, I knew they would not end up with me in a divorce (and sure enough they didn't) and they would have to endure what that 140lb bipolar loonatick was doing to me.
I am very strong and very well trained, so most of the time it was handled easily, but I never took a swing and I was always as gentle as possible. Thats because when the cops show up, they wanted to haul me away, and that meant I could not protect my kids. Any marks not on me and I go to jail, they did not care what happened to me, only if I did something.
I have NEVER mistreated anyone, but people have done it to me often, and that is why I am muscular, well trained, and can inflict grievous harm if I so choose. After the 8 years I endured with the ex, and then being forced to pay for the mistreatment I received for 15 years, I don't date anymore.
While I was still dating after the divorce, at the first sign of irrational arguments, using spicy time like that, or any sign of them getting negatively physical would result in them being punted from my life in such a way they would believe it was their idea. I don't need pets boiled and vehicles burned...
