  2.  @AeneasGemini  the variable is how much your emotions rule over you. For instance females are far more emotionally driven than males are. Some men are far more emotional than others. Some of us with PTSD only experience numbness, anger and blind rage, and though we display more that is all we feel. Removing your emotion from a decision allows you to make better choices and the hard ones faster. Its a large part of what separates a quality leader from a poor leader.
