I'm 55 and the only thing close to a midlife crisis I am having is wondering if I will get all of these muscle cars rebuilt and drivable before I expire. I've had some of them for more than 40 years. I've traveled the world, gotten 'busy' on four continents, and risk has been a big part of my life. Calculated risk, not risk without reward. Two ex wives, two kids with the first one, and my youngest and I are pretty close. I never let one of them tell me what I could or could not do. In fact the first one still complains to my kids about me buying a 1970 GTO in the mid 1990s for $1000. I still have the car and that one has been gone since 2001.
DON'T BE THAT GUY. He has done nothing in his life, taken no risks, achieved nothing. You can look at him and see he is soft, he lets everyone walk on him and cannot stand up for himself. Lift heavy stuff, do things that require effort, take on tasks that are arduous and dangerous in your youth, because it pays off when you're my age.
