  1. A hard life builds tough people, or it breaks the weak. A soft life produces soft people, unable to cope with difficulty. I'm 55, lived a hard life full of loss, danger, and adversity. I'll take the hard life EVERY TIME. Not that I always do things the hard way, I mean I have a lift in my shop to work on my cars and trucks. Its better than sliding around under a car at my age.
