  1. I could go to some other country, sit on the beach all day, and relax. I can't imagine anything more boring other than rotting in a jail cell. My 2001 deployment was like that, nothing to do all day but go to the gym after 9/11. I'd rather build my cars, have fun driving them, and go drag racing. Whenever I am not in the shop wrenching or welding, I think of all the stuff I could be getting done in the shop. No female intimidates me, I am very adept at social interaction, and if I wanted to get some from a 20 something I can. I'm not that interested at 55. The cars and trucks are far more interesting to me. I will not make it to 80. No freakin way with everything I have been exposed to in the military and farming when I was a kid. I'll probably stack up one of my cars and go out that way. I am debt free, own my home/land/shop, and since I don't pay income or property taxes, I have the equivalent of near $100k income, so I could live VERY well in the PI or Eastern Europe. I'd rather take rusty junk and turn it into a fun driver.
