  1. I have no problems with people who have lots of money, or if someone makes more than I do, or is given more than I have. I really do not care, and I do not think they took it from me to get it. I am concerned with my life, and rather than wanting things taken from others and given to me, I have always wanted to know how to get my own. I learned what I had to know to get what I wanted, and money is NOT what motivates me. That is why I build my old cars rather than buy them, because I can afford it that way, and I enjoy doing the work. Thats why I built my house rather than buying one for a lot more money in a city. I can live in the woods away from people, grow my food, produce fuel for my cars, and even have unclothed ladies walking around my yard. What I have a HUGE problem with is wealthy people using all that money to tell us how to live, or to buy legislation that benefits them at our expense. Rockefeller and Hearst both did that 100 years ago, Gates and others are doing it now. They think because they have more money that they are better than us, smarter, like they know what is good for us and that we should all do as we are told. I do not need them, do not need their ideas, and I do not need the be guided through life. I am smart enough to figure it out on my own. The ignorant and dependent people huddled together in cities with their hands out begging to be governed harder might not, but I can. They also like to pull up the ladder so to speak, make it extremely difficult to impossible for anyone else to make money like they have. They buy legislation to achieve that. after they have made theirs. They think its a zero sum game, just like all the people who are pissed that Bezos or Musk have more money than they do. That is scarcity thinking, the same as assuming that women are rare... There is what, 3 billion women on the planet? Having the gov meddle in business in any way is ALWAYS a bad idea, because they will do what benefits them. Also the people in gov are usually not the best and brightest, they are more often the C and D average students. I was in the US military and I have to deal with the gov all the time, trust me.. they are NOT brilliant. Having corporations is not a bad thing, having them buy legislation IS A BAD THING. My man, the thing you need to wake up to is the left is NOT about making life better for all of us. They are about consolidation, and a union is easier to 'handle' than a thousand independent machinists. They give you a little bit, take a big chunk of your pay, then coerce you to do their bidding, and you have to go along with what the union decides. You do not need a union to work together, but the union does make it easier for them to make you obey and do what they want. No, I am not against unions, but I am against them being used in this manner, as a form of coercion and overt influence. The left is all about top down authority, you obey or you get removed from the world of the living. They like to claim the right does that, but they also blame the right for everything the left does. The cronies who are buying influence and legislation are not on the right, they are authoritarians, and that puts them solidly on the left. The R's are not the right, there has been an influx of some in the party being on the right in the last few years, but all the old ones are on the authoritarian side. When I was a teenager in the 80s they both went after music and video games, trying to ban things, regulate them, censor what they did not want to be said.. BOTH "sides" did that. They are still trying to do that, and the old ones always will. My suggest as a man in his mid 50s is for you young guys to get involved, but also to educate yourselves so you don't fall for the bad ideas being bandied about. All you need to do is look at Europe in the 1900s to see just how bad an idea the left has had. They have been behind everything that is making your life worse, less fulfilling, and less than enjoyable. Learn to spot them, its easy because their rhetoric stays the same, with some nomenclature adjustments. Its always victim olympics, oppressor oppressed. They have so many assertions about this or that, and precious little of it works the way they say it does... but it sure as hell works wonderfully to delude the masses into thinking they are trying to help while they ruin your lives and limit your opportunities. 'Blame others for what you are doing' is their modus operandi. Look at the big cities, they complain about red lining and other things, when THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DID IT. They are really good at convincing people its the others, but its them. Its always them making things worse for us and better for themselves. They are not going to help you, give you free stuff, or save you. The corporations don't get that money and property for free... they are bought and buy people in office in a mutually beneficial system of corruption.
