@ferd1775 it made me VERY muscular, like 5'8" and 240lbs with a six pack muscular. Able to bench or lift and carry 500lbs muscular. Then they broke me by working me at 35 like they did at 21, and it was at 21 back in 1990-91 that I packed on all the muscle.
So I haven't been able to run since 2003, got messed up in 2004, medical discharge in 2005. Max distance I could walk was 100 yard per day until 2014. 100% service connected P&T so I am on a fixed income. Its more than just the physical stuff.
Now I can walk a good bit, but my metabolism is all screwed up (long story about a childhood diet due to supposed allergies) so it is still super easy to pack on more muscle mass despite the fact I am 54 now. Also I wrestled in high school and a bit at the base level in Europe before the war, and wrestlers tend to have some issues with weight because of cutting so much in high school. I would cut 30 to 40lbs every November to make the first tournament in December, but thats not military..
So as I do work around my property, because I cannot afford to pay someone to build my house, shop, cars, do the landscaping, clear trees, shovel gravel etc. I have gotten bigger and heavier.
Not being able to run is the reason I am quite large. The max caloric intake I have on any given day is 1900, usually I am around 1000 calories. If I go higher than 2000, I pack on a ton of pudge real fast. So now I am 325lbs, but I look like 240ish, have no double chin, no flab anywhere but the old man belly, which is shrinking since I stopped drinking coffee.. the coffee was inflaming my abdomen making it distend.
My job was air cargo, for an idea of what its like during wartime, take two F150s, put them in a parking lot bumper to bumper, now push them across the lot. Do that for 12 hours a day, every day for a year. Then you can alternate with carrying 100lbs in each hand up three stories while running, over and over for 12 hours every day for a year. Then go to a 7 on 1 day off schedule for another six months.
I was loading planes single handed in 120F-135F heat in Kuwait in 2004. Pallets were between 2000 and 10,000lbs each. When I was 22 my measurements were bigger than Arnold, but I have more of a power lifter physique, not a body builder, more like a 5'8" version of the Mountain from GOT.
So yeah... the USAF made me huge, punished me for it the rest of the time I was in, broke me, ended up on a fixed income, and I can't stay active enough to not have a belly... Working on it though.

@tiffanygrever8092 I am polite, not nice. There is a difference. Also, most of my weight is muscle. I am 5'8" tall, 320lbs, and you can see my ribs. I can pick up 500lbs and carry it relatively easily. You know Game of Thrones? Well take the Mountain, and shrink him to 5'8" give him a full head of hair, and you have me.
It required a ludicrous amount of work and effort to gain this muscle, and it came from my military job, not a gym. So its different than someone who sits around all day, stuffing their cake hole with unhealthy stuff, and never ran a mile in their life. I have a belly, and I am barrel shaped, but there is no double chin, no extra flab beyond a thin layer that obfuscates my muscle.
Most women do not want a 5'8" muscle bound freak who is built like a silverback gorilla... but a surprising number of them do. Well at least for a few romps of being slammed against a wall and railed like a wild animal. Yes many of them are fit and not flabby, currently there is a cute 27 year old who flirts with me every time I go through her checkout line. I am 54 and do not dye my hair, its gray like Gandalf.
I call myself this as a joke to the USAF, because they worked me to build all this muscle in 1990. 10 August 90 to some time in January or February 91 without a day off, 12 hour shifts, lifting and running with very heavy stuff for the entire shift. They made me huge then punished me for it the whole time I was in.
When I got back from Kuwait in 2001, they put me on the weight program again, despite the fact I had a six pack and no belly. Thats where the name comes from.
So yeah, I don't want some female who is over 140lbs. She has to look and smell good for me, because she will definitely get what she wants from this gorilla looking man... if she earns it.
