  6. Merit plays a big part in sports. If you can do the job better than others, you get the job, because the team wants to win. In pro sports its a business, and people make money on winning teams, so there is a financial incentive to getting the best players possible. If there are very few black quarterbacks, it is more probable that few black athletes can do the job. I don't watch pro ball sports, but I liked college football for a while. Tommy Frazier was one of my favorite all time quarterbacks at Nebraska, and he won a national championship while he was there. The people of Nebraska love that man, but he was a better running back than quarterback out of college, because Nebraska was a running team back then... when they were winning. In racing nobody gives a damn what color you are, only how well you drive and how fast your vehicle is. You want to see true equality? Watch some street racing videos, like 1320video, SRC, SixSixty, DNR, and others. If you win, you get respect, if you lose and don't make a bunch of excuses, you get respect. If you win or lose and make a bunch of excuses, nobody respects you. That is in a world where everyone talks shit, tries to hide their true capability, and wants to make you think their car is slower than it really is... including me and my vehicles. I'll tell you the 467ci (7.5L)engine in my car is only a 301 (4.9L) making 350hp, its up to you to know if its not. The gearhead world is a meritocracy, and you have to prove what you claim. Nothing is given, you must earn it all. You want more black guys winning races? Well they gotta put in the work like everyone else, and they have to learn how to win, just like the rest of us. You want more black QBs or head coaches? Well performance matters, and some people do some things better than other people, what color they are doesn't fucking matter, what matters is how well they can do it.
