I wrestled in high school and in the US military. Served in two wars. Have been in countless fights. I lost every fight until I was 16, and most wrestling matches until I was 15. Still lost matches until my very last one, but have not lost a fight in nearly 40 years. I learned how to fight and defend myself by losing... a lot.
Now I drag race, build my cars and compete against others. I learn more from losing than I do by winning, because it means someone has figured out how to do it better, go faster, or whatever else they did to win. Losing makes me better at everything I do. It teaches me where I need to improve, what I need to learn, and motivates me to put in the work required to win.
When life beats you down, you have a choice. Lay there and take it, give up and expire, or get up and fight back. I have always gotten up and fought back, even when I would just get knocked down again and again.

@BlitzedNostradamus have you ever been in a fight where you get hit so hard you see stars, your mouth goes dry, and your vision becomes a tunnel? Ever been picked up and thrown through the air and felt the jarring impact when you contacted the ground again? I have.
The size of the person doing all of that too you matters. Currently I am quite massive, very muscular, well trained in several means of self defense, yet despite being 5'8 I can throw a beating to most men, but someone who has the same difference in size is going to knock me into next month if he gets the chance. There is no female on the planet who can take that kind of beating. Its fantasy to think otherwise. At the same weight the female is going to get pummeled. You can only take so many TBIs before you're done, and the structure simply is not there for females to defend against males.
You should see what I do to guys I outweigh by 50 to 150lbs. You'd never think a female can hang if you saw what I am, or the hundreds or perhaps thousands of men who can do more than I can, capable of doing. Fights with men who have real power and training behind them vs smaller people, or worse yet the untrained, do not last long. Seconds and its over. She can't do enough damage to win unless she uses some kind of weapon.
She gets thrown into a wall, she is not getting up for a while. Its like getting hit by a car, which also happened to me. The pain shut me down, I could not move for several minutes, and it was excruciating when I tried to move despite no broken bones. Its hard to imagine until you have experienced it. I've been hit by men and women, its an entirely different world one to the other.
