  1.  @tombrewer49  It is definitely about control. I am a gearhead, I build hotrods, muscle cars, and I like to go drag racing. However, my cars do not run on gasoline, they run on ethanol, either E85 or home made cattail and tree sap vodka. Ethanol is vodka, exactly the same stuff you can get in a bar. I live in a shipping container house in the woods. I heat with biomass, sawdust pressed into pellets and next winter a large compost pile with plastic pipe run though it to heat water to 140F. Been working on producing electricity, its more expensive and complicated than all the other forms of energy we can make ourselves. My stills are powered by methane that I make from sawdust, woodchips, and when I get my septic system done, from there as well. I can do a lot with methane, and its super easy to produce and use. NONE of these people pushing this want everyone to do like I am doing, they don't want us to make our own anything, they want to force us to buy it from them, at the price they set for it. They want to push out all other forms of energy and the companies that produce it so they can take the profit from it. These busybodies want fewer humans on the planet, and they are willing to use the same methods that were employed last century to eradicate millions. Listen to what they say, they tell you straight up what they want, and people think they mean someone other than all of us... Why did I start producing energy for myself? Because in 2007 when gasoline was $5 a gallon I could not afford to buy it. I had old vehicles I love driving and building, but if I can't afford fuel whats the point? So I looked into all kinda of alternatives, hydrogen, methane, drop in biofuels, electric... and the more I looked into ethanol, the more attractive it looked. Easy to produce, has many other uses including party time and antiseptic/disinfectant, light, and the process of producing it can make more food, especially when the CO2 is pumped into a greenhouse. If it was about the environment, they would be pointing at me and telling people to live as I do. Instead they want to force them to use wind and solar, drive an EV they can control, and limit how far we can travel. We are livestock to them, they want to profit from us, thats all they want.

  2.  @richardfrost416  they are doing it perfectly, because its not about the environment. Its about controlling us and increasing their profits by preventing all of us from having access to energy from other sources. They REALLY don't want you to do like I do, make your own fuel for your vehicle, grow your own food, heat your home cheaply while making better topsoil in the process... of course if you live in a city, you can't do that anyway.
