I served in the USAF during the first Gulf War(Shield/Storm) and again in OIF, and was in direct support of OEF. The first one was curtailing aggression against an ally, and what I saw in Kuwait in 91 still haunts me. The second one turned into a for profit sacrifice of those of us in uniform that benefited people in the government directly. We paid for it, they profited. It is a blatant misuse of the military might of the US and a waste of manpower and lives. Trump just won my vote next November because he didn't cow to the likes of Bolton and those on the left who clamor for war. He did the right thing, just like he did with North Korea. I spent far too much time in chem warfare training during my year in Korea because all the previous administrations preferred rhetoric and conflict, then 'orange man bad' shows up and deescalates things, and the so called peace loving left hates him even more for it. No more useless wars for the profits of a few at the cost of the many. We are not expendable just because we volunteer and do not wear a suit with our fleshy jowls hanging over the collar. I live with chronic pain and a host of other issues because of their profiteering. Do not sentence more young men to the life I have, or the end of it in a flag draped box on the deck of a cargo plane.
