Been saying this for years, males and females are not the same, not equal, not interchangeable with the only difference being indoor or outdoor plumbing. Squat or stand.. its far more than that. If you force females to compete with males in areas that require strength, endurance, spatial skills, and speed, girls will always come up short. Its not misogyny its biology. Its not social influence that packed on so much muscle mass that I can lift 500lbs or easily lift 200lbs and carry it across the room. It was my military job and my physiology, its what I was born to do. Build things, move things, lift things, do things and win wars.
As it happens, I got all this muscle mass BECAUSE of females, I was teamed with females during the 1990-91 gulf war, loading cargo planes for the USAF. I did all the heavy lifting, they were spotters for the vehicles and carried the paperwork and things under 50lbs. I can move a 10,000lb pallet alone, and when I was 20-35 could move them all day, females struggled with a 2.000lb pallet in pairs. You need more girls than you can fit behind a 88"x108" air trans pallet to move a 10,000lb pallet.
It is unfair to make females meet male standards, they are not physically equipped to do what we can do. Likewise they are much better at things that we are not built to do. The females were quite happy sitting inside, checking parts, going over lists, reviewing manifests, that sort of thing. It was drudgery for males. Can males do it? Yes, but the females are often happier doing it than males. Can the females do the physical work, to an extent, yes.. but when paired with a male, he will end up doing the vast majority of the physical work.
Show me a girl who can bench 300lbs and I will show you a few hundred guys who can. There are no females who can lift what I can lift, unless they have a crane or forklift. The US military has a different standard for males and females, for good reason. Females simply cannot keep up with males when it comes to physical requirements. Its biology, not misogyny.
Having read that, you might think I am a female hating creep... not so. I am all about reality. I am also into drag racing. here is what matters in drag racing: How fast you can react to a light turning on. Can you do the same thing at the same time every time in fractions of a second? Can you not run into things in a vehicle that can go zero to 60 in one or two seconds, or at the extreme 0 to 100mph in one second (Top Fuel dragsters do that) None of this requires physical strength, some spatial skills are required, but mostly its reaction time and repetition/muscle memory. Girls are lighter than boys, so girls have an advantage when it comes to vehicle weight. All this muscle I carry around makes me weigh 300lbs, a girl who weighs 90lbs can operate the same vehicle and she has around a .2 second advantage due to weight alone over me in vehicles slower than 10 seconds to cover a quarter mile. Getting a vehicle moving is easier when its lighter, and yes girls can be VERY good drag racers.
In this particular sport, females can compete with males very close to equally. Look up Ashley Force, the daughter of John Force who is one of the most successful drag racers in the history of the sport. Ashely has won a national championship, and beat her dad in a drag race. Shirley Muldowny was another female drag racer who won championships, and came back after a horrific crash that shattered one of her legs, she is tough as nails. Like me, John only had daughters, no sons. Our kids are going to be gearheads regardless if they are boys or girls, its the nature of having a father like John and I who do the car/racing thing like we do. My 24 year old daughter knows more about the vehicles her boyfriends drive than they do.
Can my daughter defend herself against the average male? Not very well, she is tough and at 5'7 she has some physical strength, but she is still limited. So limited in fact she was unable to operate any of the .45 pistols I lost in a boating accident, so we had to get her one that was easier to operate, so she could load it and fire it without struggling. That pistol allows my daughter to defend herself from faster and stronger males.
Males and females are DIFFERENT. That doesn't mean one is better or more valuable, although it could be argued females are more valued than males are.. after all, who does most of the dying in wars and industrial accidents? Who does society care about more, that pretty blond who went missing on spring break, or the homeless guy under the bridge? However, males and females are complimentary, we fit together like gears in a machine. If the gears were smooth and perfectly equal as the feminists/marxists claim, the machine would not work. It requires the highs and lows to fit together so the machine will work. Trying to make something do things it is not designed/built to do will result in lackluster results, making it do what it was designed/built to do better as in accentuating the positives rather than trying to change the negatives, usually results in better outcomes.
You cannot judge a female on the same standard you judge a male, nor vice versa. While parts will interchange between male and female, like heart, lungs etc, there are vast differences in who and how we are. There is no getting around it, no changing it, we are different no matter how much they scream and claim I hate girls because I see reality and want my daughters to have a fair shot at life and living. Forcing everyone to fit a mold, or claiming they are the same when they are not, does nobody any favors, least of all females. All that does is set the standards so low that they are meaningless, and then you must hold back those who can achieve more to make up for those who cannot. Then we get into Harrison Bergeron...
