I caught them lying way back in 1990 when they lied about my unit in the first Gulf War, and they did it again in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Not misinformation designed to obfuscate for operational security, but lies intended to make the US military and the President at the time look bad, inept, incompetent, and ineffective. Then I caught them again, lying about agriculture, ethanol fuels, and other technical areas where I am rather to highly knowledgeable.
So when I saw them ripping on Trump, then hearing what he actually said in context, it was obvious to me what they were up to. Its particularly interesting when they reported on something a year earlier, then claim its a 'conspiracy theory/fake news' now, like the Hunter Biden thing. I started out not liking Trump from long before he ran for office. Now after seeing what they have done and why, and how he has reacted to it, I like the guy. They made me into someone who will vote for Trump in November.
To those who have no expertise or knowledge of a given subject, they are believable. If you don't notice weasel words like "may cause" which are intended to mislead you to the wrong conclusion, its easy to be fooled by them. They prey upon the confirmation bias and ignorance of the average person, telling them what to think rather than what happened. They are repugnant in what they are doing, and I have caught all of them doing it.
