  1. I'll make a response video too... but here is a quick reply. First thing. What should we do with all the corn we grow that people cannot eat? It makes a far superior cattle feed AFTER you make ethanol from it. Stop farming? One of the very few things we produce here in the USA and export overseas is DDGS, the leftover livestock feed after producing fuel ethanol. I am going to bet this "new" study is based on the Pimental study from 40 years ago that never made it through peer review, because he had to fudge the numbers to make ethanol negative on ERORI. Claiming the largest Steiger tractor of the time would only last ten years farming 100 acres. 80 acres is a square quarter mile. Those tractors are still going today, and farm thousands of acres every year. That is how far he skewed his numbers.. Who funded Pimental? Um... an oil company.. What was his discipline? He studies insects, entomologist. Every time gasoline gets expensive they trot out another version of this horribly flawed study, and people such as this channel believe it. Almost everything you 'know' about ethanol from other people is wrong or irrelevant. If you actually run ethanol in the form of E85 to E100, then you probably know its almost all bunk. Check my channel.. my intro is the sounds of my Pontiac 455s that run on E85/E100. I've been producing ethanol from tree sap and cattails since 2007, you know the last time gasoline was $5 a gallon. Go ahead... pay whatever they demand you pay to get around. I am going to be making fuel for ten cents to a dollar a gallon... and I can run crazy powerful engines on it too. My daily driver is probably a lot faster than yours... and far more fun.
