  1. @Fernando Soria-Molina heh.. no. Whiskey/vodka/wine/beer/ethanol doesn't eat the rubber in cars. it doesn't harm anything. The difference between a flex vehicle and a non flex is programming, injector size, and the sensor in the fuel line. I've been running home made vodka as fuel in my 60s GTOs, 70s Firebirds and trucks, as well as my modern EFI equipped vehicles for nearly 13 years. Zero issues other than making so much power that the rear tires go up in smoke very easily. The thing causing problems is the gasoline mixed with ethanol and additives they put in for whatever reason. I am not the only one to find this through extensive testing. https://www.onallcylinders.com/2018/05/25/ask-away-jeff-smith-e85-pump-gas-additives-not-ethanol-cause-corrosion/ You are exactly wrong about ethanol fuel, like most people. They are also very wrong about how to survive when the world goes to shit. Well the power goes off here a few times a month, it can be out for a week. We get 200 inches of snow every winter. It is 20 miles to the nearest grocer. Temps fall below zero for most of January and February. Cell service is spotty at best. And yeah I live in the lower 48, not Alaska or some remote part of northern Canada. If you have no idea where to find food, how to grow it, what medicines you can get from nature, how to produce power, heat water, and make fuel, you are very dead within a couple months at most. Life is too easy and bad information is everywhere, mostly thanks to marketing. Marketing is why you are wrong about ethanol.... like most people. You have been lied to and are spreading it around like you know all about it.
