  3. I can see shaggy as a 4F, or awol. He took too many shrooms and is the only one that can hear Scooby talk. Only when the others are high, can they hear Scooby. Make it like That 70s Show, combined with Born on the Fourth of July and Ghostbusters. Headed towards Canada to avoid the draft, they keep getting into ghost or insurance scam adventures. Sometimes a real ghost, sometimes a scam. Then they realize like the ATeam, they found a niche market and can be hired. Make it funny, but sometimes scary and dramatic. I like it.

  11. Okay, Devil's Advocate Time: Imagine it's 1969. Saturday Morning Cartoons are for KIDS. Rock n Roll, hippies, The Beatles are still seen as subversive elements to the Boomers' parents. So, here is s cartoon about teenagers with no supervision jaunting around America. The scruffy one looks like a no-good druggie layabout. The girls wear shirt skirts, and I wonder about that bookish one. Two young ladies in a van with two jobless young men? Somethings fishy here. Probably have those hippie orgies and so drugs! Meanwhile, our boys are fighting commies in southeast Asia while you bums aren't even in school! Scooby Doo was likely somewhat scandalous to people over 40 at the time. So, it's doing it again. Not a fan, but the show was always promoting some adult scenarios to impressionable kids.

  19. Dear Stupid, Anything made with employees is designed to make money. Rehashing things that worked once is more of a safe bet, less cost, with a degree of financial risk that MAY win big. AKA Capitalism. There is no War on Christmas, gays don't want to convert straights, and Scooby Doo is not Shakespeare or Beethoven. Trannies and lesbians aren't coming to your house with guns. We can both hate this, but there is a reason 'conservatives' are made fun of, as well.
