  8. So, local poor Christian family. Married, one kid. Both former addicts. Got to know them, though I'm not a believer. I saw dude changing brake pads laying on ice in January at night. I told him I would never do that. Daytime, reluctantly, for my family. But, if she had to use the car that night, I'd be like Nope. And if she started bitching, I'd say I don't love you anymore, A few months later, I see her and she informs me her husband is in jail for a year. I didn't ask why. They helped me on,an issue, so, I said I'll help take care of any man-work that needs to be done, including car. We speak on the phone a few times, She mentions how he is depressed and relayed how other prisoners say guys lose their gals during a stretch. So, she tried to keep good spirits around him. HER WORDS over the phone. I do some cleanup for her and she's grateful. But, at some point, she becomes standoffish and even has a rude comment. Eventually, I see another car parked there often and a dude I never saw before going in and out. Married, Christian. She stopped calling and I left my leafblower there.
