  4. Those plane trucks you see. Put metal grate on them bigger than the intake. Make them remote control or even plugged into a circuit so plane can't taxi. Something. This HAS to be an industry wide protocol change, not just one families bazillion dollar payout.

  8. I was thinking about a rolling fence, bigger than the inlet, so even if fence got pulled toward engine, won't go in. I mean something heavy on four wheels that can be remote control driven as well

  10. Similiar thing happened to my great grandfather in the 1930s. He was a mechanic in the luftwaffe, and a saboteur was trying to destroy a prototype flying wing, but he intervened. This was in North Africa before the war.

  11. Needs a new tarmac protocol. Perhaps a strong LED light that creates a danger zone outline in front of engines, or brightly coloured strips that are layed down prior to start up. I'm imagining those tire puncture slabs cops use, but without spikes, lights. And maybe a rolling fence, heavy and stable, too big to go into fans, but will stop a body or luggage
