  1. This is the sign: The phone rings. You are depressed or just had a blistering arguement. You give the person on the other end short, clipped answers. They sense something is wrong. But, you just keep the call short so you can go be by yourself. But, if you're a narcissist, you turn on a sweet, courteous voice. You laugh and chat about something. You end the call with a sincere farewell. Then you go back to a sour demeanor, continuing argument, yelling, threats, etc.

  12. Likely true, though people tend to apply the word now to members of the opposite political party. One thing, Not all narcs are malignant. I would say Trump qualifies as King of Malignant Narcissists. But, Obama is more benevolent. As long as he is loved, he will at least make a show of being everyone's favorite teacher.

  15. Don't agree with the first part. No evidence of a soul. That is likely just a wish to never die, but agree with the rest. So, one out of two isn't bad. And if you can present compelling evidence, maybe 2 for 2.

  18. Collapsed. Too big to fail. The roads and economy and justice system will still run. Occasional war here and there. But, no love of country. No love of neighbor. No love of family. Only self love. And the ones that hate themselves will disappear into habits and consumerism, distractions.

  20. Depends on severity. A family intervention like with an addict sounds right, but likely people will bail. For my own m.narc. I let some state agencies like she isn't a great caregiver. That put her on spotlight, but no real change. Except she's leaving.
