  1. William Burr Bill Burr, he is a historical figure now. More of a symbol, like Jesus. It's acceptable to be inspired by men of the past, warts and all. India sucks, I agree. But hasn't all of Christiandom disobeyed Christ? I'm sure Jesus wasn't the magical being made out to be, but still His words resonate. I appreciate your iconoclasticity, but the human mind is not all facts and figures. We condemn people who have also done good. It serves that we can also praise those who disappoint. Roasting our celebrities, tearing down statues is more animalistic than mere hypocrites. Rebuttal?

  2. Westerners are the champions of Individualism. All of our Heroes rebelled. Not some, All. But, every society is made of masses. Masses that must be employed, fed, contented, protected. Groupthink will always be the Norm. Especially when everyone is a self styled nonconformist. If wearing a bone through your nose with a purple Mohawk makes you an outcast, then wearing a three piece suit when everyone isn't, also does.

  5. World War 3 was prevented, because the world was rebuilding then. But, I say it's the best thing that could happen. If after, populations are depleted. A eugenics program is started and after a long dark age, renaissance, a New Evolution. Granted, I'm choosing Evil. But, people don't understand why it exists. A lion that kills a gazelle, a forest fire, a meteor strike, a dangerous intersection. Only good comes from horror and death. While only prolonged mediocrity and inevitable decay comes from growth and success. We failed. I say speed it up.

  6. Bull. Humanity always had something hellish going on. Industrialization is far, far worse. Mechanized warfare, and now hivelike existence. Really, the last 50 years set the tone. Computerized dystopia was warned about in books and movies. Now, here it is. Self-fulfilled.

In his gloom and ire, he decided I shall be the opposite of Life. All is built, All is decided. But, without choice, nothing is worthy. You feel damned, but I say you were Damned before you Sinned. I do not offer joy, I offer choice. Which is freedom, which life subverts.
