Meanwhile, I'm a drunk, have been arrested, I'm rude and judgemental..,but I am super forgiving, generous and just willing to help, even an enemy. Luthor was turned into a narcissist power seeker under the guise of protecting Earth from the Kryptonian menace. He was jealous of Supermans ubermensch status, when Luthor thought he should be acknowledged as the greatest. In the comics, he became President, and even looks like a bald Trump. Make believe tales tap into the human subconscious and are a commentary on real life, in the disguise of fantastic tales.
