  1. One thing I'd like to say is that the swastika wasn't a symbol of hate, neither is the yin yang symbol. It was appropriated by the national socialists in Germany. Some people consider the hat and the phrase to associate with a certain type. I know Trump supporters who are decent human beings. Its just that I don't consider him one. Hate the sin not the sinner is an appropriate feeling.

  2. My take: Yes, this is an overreaction to an inoffensive hat. However, Donald Trump is not a paragon of virtue, the opposite in fact. I don't respect the people who overlook his immorality AND I don't like the people who demonize Trump supporters.
