  4. What is obvious is that both crow and squirrel want some carrot. Crow tries a move, doesn't work. Squirrel sees groundhog isn't going to just run away. So, squirrel tries a move to get groundhog to chase him or run away. If ground hog went running, then crow would try for carrot but not be able to really eat it or fly with it. Either way squirrel could quickly return to carrot or climb a nearby tree of crow brought carrot up to one. It was kind of a Hail Mary pass. "Lemme just kick him on my way out, see what happens. Isn't going well right now anyways. I want some carrot."
