  1. if you live abroad already AND sit on a second/third citizenship the idea makes more sense than being in USA and just be salty about politicians. dont renounce to stick it to government; be selfish this one time and do it just for you. some second citizenship is also a must; USA will let you renounce but then you are stranded and stateless somewhere if you did not secure another passport. residence permit alone will not help here !
