  2. yes and no afaik as schengen area members are busy with change to ETIAS it is a no brainer; almost nobody (except the usual EU and EFTA countries) will be entitled to visa free access to schengen soon_ish anymore. St. Kitts will move on the same rank as USA; both will need ETIAS clearance. still better than lot of countries which need a schengen visa still.
