@gidzmobug2323 as James will inherit all titles his father carries or will carry, he is not short of fancy titles. he is already Viscount Severn by courtesy title.

Edward IX. would immediately bestow princely titles upon his offspring by tradition. Louise becoming Princess Royal is also secured

@pedanticradiator privat property rule was a problem with Edward VIII. those estates were his by right of descent, not by succession. UK purchased the estates from him for George VI. and thus he got his allowance to live in Paris.

@stevebrent2500 it would be awkward if his offspring would decline the offer, but they are able to drop out of line of succession on their own volition immediately. no princely titles then and Princess Anne (plus Peter and Savannah and Isla etc.) is suddenly next as heir presumptive.

@RaymondHng only a hindrance if it bans everybody from a foreign throne. for example Haakon would become Norges Konge and for sure his children would deny british succession as well but his sister Märtha Louise would be free to accept IMHO
