  2.  @kolomaznik333  Eduard is the only surviving male heir to Joachim Ernst, last Duke of Anhalt before republican era. as such he is of course able to amend everything and to be honest: he is always able to quote german laws, which prohibit strict salic law anyway. married or not and with whomever: your children inherit every time and son or daughter is the same to the law. he was afaik able to convince his 3 daughters that they will not change their last name upon marriage AND put their feet down in case of marriage so every descendant follows the mother's last name. Eduard is now smiling with a handful of princes and princesses as grandchildren :)
