@cobra8888 when Hadrian renamed the area to Syria Palaestina he technically banned all jews from jerusalem and made their lives hard elsewhere, thus the diaspora came into existence. really ancient proceedings, but for silly reasons it is of no consequence because bible+thora gave them israel for eternity.
