  1. Heat isn't really used anymore nowdays. It's all armor piercing disgarding sabot ammo now. Only some missile systems still use heat.

  2. I wouldn't say it is useless crap. It is good equipment but only performs best when used in the exact doctrine it was designed for. It is not always as flexible as other systems because western systems are all for a specialised purpose. Seperate systems for seperate requirements. Bying a single system often leads to capability gaps in that case.

  6. That 30bn is vastly overestimated. All the millitary equipment from usa is counted at replacement value first of all. So a 40 year old m113 or paladin is counted as what buying a brand new one would cost. Nothing wrong with sending old equipment you where gonna scrap anyway, but don't pretend you are sending brand new stuff. And ordinance has a shelflife as wel after which is decommisioned at great cost. Ukraine is now recieving the stuff that is nearest to that date, basicly saving the usa the cost of decommisioning. Also some of it are guarantees which most likely never will be called upon anyway. So yeah, their support is amazing and important, but i don't think this is the right time to show off by using questionable accounting practices.

  7.  @Hurricane1668  the bulk comes from the usa though. And counted realisticly that number isn't nearly as high as it is reported. Don't get me wrong, it's still a whole lot and ukraine needs it badly and will put it to good use. But why fiddle with those numbers? It will only create more resistance at home for no good reason.
