Not eating meat is what the Bible calls a "doctrine of devils" and God gave mankind dominion over all the living creatures. Veganism isn't wise and it isn't Biblical. Our bodies require animal proteins to help the hormones in the body work properly (especially men with testosterone). Eating meat actually makes a man more masculine.
1 Timothy 4:3-5 KJV
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Genesis 1:26 KJV - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God wanted people to offer their best livestock as a sacrifice at the temple and the Levite priests ate the meat offerings in the old testament. The smell was a "sweet savor" to the Lord. Even God Almighty likes the smell of meat cooking, as I previously stated.
Leviticus 1:3,7-9 KJV
[3]If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
[7]And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
[8]And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
[9]But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
