It seems like he specifically chose people that were not "angry" about what they had experienced because he didn't want to disrespect anyone. There is plenty more information out there that can explain why Mormonism is heretical. But only Christians will care about that.

The Bible is written to different people in vastly different time periods, some past, some present, some future.
