Do you believe in being saved by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ? That Jesus died for our sins and rose again the third day? That we can do nothing on our own to merit salvation? Mormons have another Jesus entirely (Satan's brother) and Titus is a former Seventh Day Adventist so unfortunately he is promoting those doctrines. These groups are both different than orthodox Christianity because they believe in works salvation. They don't believe in the God of the Bible. They believe that God was a man who became a god and that all men can become gods and populate other planets. They believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers and God was their father called Elohim. Yes. That is just some of their beliefs. I encourage everyone to do their own research before assuming that they are the same as Christians. That's only taking things at face value. Yes, they are nice, moral people a lot of the time, due to their upbringing, but that's because they believe in works salvation. They are not saved by grace through faith. They are not born again and they are not filled with the Holy Spirit.

They aren't necessarily purposely lying. They are deceived and believe what they are saying. They are probably really nice people too and people critical of these groups don't hate those people. If other people are warning the audience it's because someone needs to inform people of what is not being said.

Titus is a former Seventh Day Adventist and he is promoting the same doctrine on his channel. It has connections to the Mormon church as does the Jehovah's Witnesses. They all came about around the same time and are different but very similar groups. They believe in works salvation and are not born again Christians. They do not believe in many foundational Christian beliefs when you investigate further. I encourage everyone to do their own research and see for themselves.

@Kalendale Salvation is never a license for sin. There are plenty of Scriptures that go against what you just said. Ephesians 2:10 KJV - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Just imagine, many people today can't even fathom having one child. Instead they decide to keep houseplants or pets. I don't agree with your religious beliefs at all but that is absolutely amazing how many children your parents raised.

@kylesalmon31 You are right. If we are all one big family then there would be no point for salvation. Everyone would already be saved and not need a Savior. It is obvious by the turmoil in the world that everyone is not united.

@WranglermanLevi You confirmed my assumption that they don't want to talk to people that are Bible believing Christians. If someone knows their KJV Bible and is actually saved (not just a professing Christian) they won't be looking for anything else. They will be more inclined to preach to Mormons. Not for the sake of competition but for the sake of their eternal salvation. We have to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did for us. Not in an experience, a vision, a church, a prophet, a sinners prayer or our own good works, etc. Mormons appear to be looking for those who don't have a foundation and who are seeking. But the Lord Jesus Christ and God's word are our foundation. That's all we need.

@asmith7094 I wish that were the case but we are not all children of God. Many are children of Satan. To be a child of God one has to have true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:26 KJV - For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. John 8:44 KJV - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

@InternetJury If we could earn our salvation, why did Jesus die for us? Absolutely anyone can be saved when they receive the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did for them on the cross. What you're missing is that believers who do nothing to serve the Lord in their lifetime, will have no rewards in eternity, but it doesn't determine their salvation. Believers who do things with the wrong intention (trying to appear good, etc.) will find that their works are burnt up. None of us are good enough to merit salvation and we all deserve (an eternally burning) hell. Thankfully through the sacrifice, death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ we can find forgiveness, redemption, eternal life as well as a relationship with our Creator.

They are "high demand" because they are works based. They feel that they can gain salvation by their works, which is true for most religions. However that is not how one has a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ or obtains eternal life.

@celticteigyr All that is required to understand the "contradictory" passages in the Bible is to rightly divide the word of truth (the Bible). We need to recognize the audience for each passage. Some Scriptures are written to people in the past, some are written to people today and others are written to people in the future, still to come. For example if something was written to the Israelites in the past, who were under the law, we can take these passages as something to learn from, but we cannot assume that God is directly speaking to us as we are not Israelites from the past. That's like thinking that a letter written to someone else is instead addressed to us, when it actually for our learning and instruction in righteousness. On the other hand, Paul is our Apostle and he is speaking to us today. There are other Scriptures that have yet to come to pass and they are speaking to people in the future. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Right, we are only children of God when we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ; that He died to pay for our sins and rose again the third day. We have to receive the Lord Jesus Christ and believe that He is who He said He was. We do not have to follow extra-biblical books or prophets. We do not need fresh or new revelation, we already have the word of God that the Lord preserved for us. I tend to think that Peter is an unbeliever so he may view all of these belief systems as interesting but ridiculous. I would love if he spoke to some Bible believing Christians that really studied their Bibles.

There is only the option of going up or down. Down is in the heart of the earth and it's very hot, to put it mildly. Up is eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ. I used to be an unbeliever and think that there was nothing, but there is definitely something after death and it lasts forever. This life is a small piece of time in comparison. @lindamartinez7006 I encourage you to look into the Biblical concept of "dispensations". All of the Bible is for our learning, but it's not all about us or addressed directly to us. We have to understand context and which time period the book pertains to. This is what it means to rightly divide the word of truth. Notice how the book of James is addressed to the "twelve tribes" of Israel? That is not us. We are saved by grace through faith and we are living in the church age. We are not spiritual Israel. It's called marketing and that's also why groups want to cover up unpleasant things or false prophecies that never came true. They are nice and polite, absolutely, but that doesn't get one to heaven. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ does.
