Also the other woman who was expecting and married in a non-plural relationship. How she spoke and her demeanor showed to me that she would not want to have a plural relationship but due to their beliefs she had to reluctantly say that "if it was God's will", they would do it. Maybe they think that this is their choice, but it is because of their belief system that they grew up with, that they would make such decisions in the first place. They think it's natural, but I don't think it is. I think it's painful to share a spouse. Why else would people be so hurt by cheating that they would get divorces?

It seems more indifferent to me. If someone doesn't have strong religious beliefs themselves and is open to all religious points of view, then they won't really be offended by any of them.

I noticed that as well. This is not the desire of most women's hearts. Who wants to share their husband and children with other women? Seems like a violation of privacy and the sacred and precious nature of marriage and raising children. I think that some of the "happiness" could not be genuine.

The Mormons were pushed out of the areas that they tried to set up shop in such as Ohio and Missouri and then they eventually settled in Utah which was at that time Mexico. It's origins are that of a very rebellious group that was walking away from Christianity and building something different entirely. The reason that they have pushed certain practices under the rug was because it was frowned upon and shamed. There may be many groups that are trying to distance themselves from this, but they cannot deny the real history. These fundamentalist groups are being a little more open about who they really are. It should be noted that the women said that they are supposed to "love their sister wives in the same way as the husbands". This sounds like some form of bisexuality where the women want men to provide but develop close relationships with other women? No straight Christian woman would want to share her husband or children with other women, much less help another woman raise their children. These are indeed not Biblical beliefs. They are going by the book of Mormon and what prophets say. Biblical marriage is obviously supposed to be between one man and one woman in a monogamous relationship. In eternity there is no "celestial marriage". The only one that believers could possibly be "married" to is the Lord Jesus Christ because the church as a whole is supposed to be His bride. These people believe that salvation is through plural marriage. I hate to pop your bubble, but Titus is from the Seventh Day Adventist church. That was how he was raised and he still promotes the same heresies of "soul sleep" and "annihilation", etc., that the SDA teaches. Recently he said that coffee (caffeine) was "poison" and that is what Ellen G. White wrote, their prophetess, whose writings they believe are "infallible". He may maintain that he is not part of the church, but I see little difference if his parents still belong to it and he continues to promote all of the same doctrines that the SDA does. He hasn't been upfront. He is following the rules of men and a church. I was excited about him sharing Jesus and the Bible, at first myself, but now I see what's going on.

They said it's about procreation and giving many children to one man. Multiple men would not necessarily be needed because they are supposed to be the head of household. They don't need more than one leader. In the Bible, all marriages with multiple wives were essentially trouble. Jealousy and fighting regarding children. Women leading their husband away from God. It was supposed to be one man and one woman from the beginning.

It's because they aren't saved, they don't know the true gospel and therefore don't feel compelled to encourage other people to get saved. They believe that they can become gods with their own works. That God was a man that became a god. That salvation is having an eternal celestial marriage and populating other planets for eternity. This is not Christianity. They think that God had a wife because they think he was a man like they are. Among other things. Technically God does have a "wife" and it's Israel. He "divorced" Israel because His chosen people rejected Him. He will be dealing with them again during the 7 year tribulation period or time of Jacob's/Israel's trouble, in the the not so distant future. They are not as different as you would think. Titus is a former Seventh Day Adventist and he still believes those same doctrines. He is promoting "soul sleep" and "annihilation" on his channel, which are also beliefs held by Jehovah's Witnesses. Mormons, JWs and Seventh Day Adventists all came to be around the same time and they were off-shoots of similar groups that were disillusioned with regular Christianity. They have all followed their own prophets who created extra-Biblical books that stray from Scripture. Very enlightening if someone is to choose to research the history of these groups. I would suggest that it is very important to learn the details about these groups rather than just taking them at face value.

The next time it is certain prophets will be around is during the seven year tribulation when Moses and Elijah, the two witnesses come back in Jerusalem. Groups such as the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists all have prophets and extra-Biblical books that add or subtract from Scripture. I am a Bible believing Christian. I believe that God's word is perfect and complete. It has been preserved for the English-speaking people (with translations in many other languages such as Russian, Spanish, German and Chinese). I don't need new revelation or a new prophet. We already have all we need in God's word. When people become true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ they become children of God and they are brothers and sisters in Christ. That being said, the Mormons sadly are not this way.

Feminism had it's hand in destroying the traditional Christian family unit and we are seeing the results now. Less children, less marriage, more divorce, more discontent. What you consider constraining was actually supposed to act as protection for men, women and children and create generational legacies. Genuine believers can become a "close-knit community" today because they are a family ("children of God"). In eternity believers aren't married (as Mormons suppose), but it is one big happy family of believers forever. @jeremylynn8631 Thank you for being open to the truth. It's refreshing because usually his followers just want to defend him and they treat people warning about issues as enemies. I have noticed with a lot of his followers that they even reject Scripture that proves that what is being taught by that group is false. They are believing that their is no eternal hell and that we shouldn't fear God. The vegetarian diet and keeping the Sabbath is heavily promoted by the SDA also. I have some videos about the SDA in my playlist if you are interested. I will just say that we should watch what he teaches and compare it to SDA teachings. I think we will find that he continues to teach consistently with what that church also teaches so he is therefore not "non-denominational", as he presented himself. God bless you, friend. @jeremylynn8631 Groups like the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists are considered "cults" because they stray from foundational tenets of the Christian faith. They add to Scripture and they twist Scripture to suit their own beliefs. They were started around the same time and were led by prophets. Technically they are false prophets because they made predictions that never came to pass. SDA was started by a woman which indicates doctrinal issues immediately. They all say that they are regular Christians but they cannot be when their beliefs deviate that far. There has to be distinction between them and regular, basic Christianity. It's good to learn about what these groups believe but I believe in Bible believing Christianity. The kind that doesn't deviate from good doctrine and the word of God. I have experience with a strict vegetarian (vegan) diet too and I do not think it is good for long-term health, so I can't really be fooled with that. I have nothing personally against any of these people, I wish this weren't so... But I really do not want to see anyone misled by false doctrine and believing lies about God or how He has things set up. We all do this at some point and need to have things straightened out with God's truth. We have to continually keep studying God's word. I'm looking forward to when Jesus reigns on the earth for 1000 years and there is peace during the millennial kingdom. Not all believers, but a portion of believers will be reigning with him. We will have glorified bodies then. Look into it and get excited because it's in the Bible and it's 100% going to happen. The reason such groups are labeled "cults" is because they stray from basic tenets of the Christian faith. They will have prophets and extra-Biblical books that move them away from Scripture. Essentially everything that they talked about in this video is not believed or practiced by mainstream Christians. For example, they believe that God was a man that became a god and that they can become gods themselves. The Bible teaches that God was never a mortal man and that He is our Creator. It's not about being cruel by labeling them, it's about understanding how they are classified. There is a channel, Ready to Harvest that details all the differences between denominations and many would not consider Mormons to be a denomination of Christianity, but something else. Indeed from their very inception, they were trying to start something new. A "restored" church because they viewed every other Christian group as apostate.

We can't talk about Mormonism without thinking about the vast number of people that have left it. This is why mainstream Mormonism has tried to change their image and keep pushing that they are regular "Christians". As a Bible believing Christian, I can confirm that they have extremely different beliefs from traditional Christianity. I'm not buying the "Christian" title for a single second.

The mainstream Mormons keep on acting like they are just "Christians" but the first Mormons were actually trying to leave mainstream Christianity and make a new "restored" church, with very different beliefs.
