  1. We are all given a conscience by God and the law is written on our hearts, so that we all know right from wrong. All religions other than (true Biblical) Christianity have something in common as they are works-based systems where people attempt to be good, enlightened people. Good works are commendable but they won't save us, only faith in Jesus Christ will. Romans 2:15 - Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;); Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 1 John 2:2 - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
