Isn't it interesting that people assume that the only way to socialize is to go to school, however when the children are in class the teachers tell them to stop talking, listen and learn. The same thing is the case in the workplace. People certainly aren't supposed to be wasting company time socializing all day long. Real life is actually that you socialize most in your free time and you have to speak to people in the workplace and in real life that aren't just the same age as you.

I encourage you to look into the options out there and discover why teachers are leaving the school system in droves. The superiority of the public and private school systems is a myth.

All public and private school teachers use curriculums that they probably didn't handcraft themselves. Some of the very same high quality curriculums parents can also use at home. There are also video lessons, co-ops and so many supplemental resources out there. There are a plethora of helpful options, parents just need to utilize them. Worst case scenario, a child can be tutored in a specific subject. There are public and private schooled students that do the exact same thing. It's not as if regular teachers are going to spend individual attention with all of their students when they struggle. It's the parents' responsibility to make sure their children are educated. Teachers today are blaming PARENTS for their own children not learning and having no respect for the teachers that are trying to help them.

@cheryllwaldrop9732 There's also the concept of learning along with your children. What about fixing something around the house or making a recipe? Don't we all learn as an adult and if we don't know how to do something, we look it up and figure out how? What a wonderful experience to show children that they can do the same thing. Learning to be resourceful and figuring out how to do things independently. Much of my own learning in life came from experience and personal study, not the small amount the I learned in school. The teachers were so lackluster that I hardly remember most of them! The ones I do remember where the ones that gave me individual attention and just some words of encouragement. Can't loving parents do this? I think so!
