You sure shall ! And you'll plug the holes that he left open, namely : mention the name of the theory he evaded naming ! You certainly know of "transmission line theory", don't you ?

@edwardsong5199 intuition is not provable. It's just fuzzy pattern matching and people are way more often wrong than right, but "in the real world" it's "good enough".

Why even bother with intuition in maths ? 😀

HHmmmmmmm modular arithmetics..... There might be some Galois trickery behind somewhere 😀

Well, this time you thought this through ! Good one.

Well well well... That was a great one, that touches many subjects this video does not even know about. The first thing I thought was "cryptanalysis bitches !" but also other related subjects...

hmmmmm yes and no.

I was about to remark this ! "why use p=3 when p=2 is a great bridge to the computer world ?" but the Fermat demonstration stole the show.

"transmission line theory" there, I said it.

17:00 Oh, so Boole's algebra was invented by Shannon now ? :-/ c'mon...

31:08 False ! You must be mistaken for the later designs, called "Von Neuman" architecture (as opposed to Harvard architecture where program memory and data memory are separate, and which was also used by relay computers of the 40s decade). ENIAC was NOT based on Turing's "designs", and Von Neuman only came later, put his name on a widely circulated paper. Look up Eckert and Mauchly's story. However Turing got to play with later "devices" in England and JvN had a blast (not just nuclear) with cellular automata and much much more :-)
