  1. It’s clear Facebook has become the worlds most dangerous monopoly. They operate on a business model that is based on deep surveillance of its users without their knowledge. Facebook takes that data to target its users manipulating in ways far more sophisticated that we have ever seen before. It relies on manipulation, exploitation and depvivitiation of deeply personal information allowing actors to change ones opinions and behaviour. The company needs to be broken up so users have a real choice and their is market based accountability. Facebook faces trillions in liability for violation of personal data privacy attacks and is under investigation by the FTC for violating antitrust laws. It’s difficult to name a multi billion company without a single competitor. Much more importantly, Facebooks business model is fundamentally incompatible with democratic principles and societies. Micro-targeting humans is an exceptionally dangerous tool to manipulate who buys what products, who’s values are followed, who governs, who leads nations and who starts wars. Facebook needs to be broken up to protect democracy.

  2. Facebook is the greatest threat to democracy in the world. A free, unregulated and instantaneous worldwide publishing platform to disseminate any information anyone wants. Anywhere. Anytime. Zero accountability for anything it destroys or produces. Try to compete against it and it obliterates you. It’s killed thousands and brought down governments. Facebook is the toilet bowl of the Internet. Dangerous and terrifying how its creators now control so many.
