  2. The nazi party did the same thing. By only recognizing the people supporting them as "the media" they were able to shut down all legitimate dissent.

  3. What people dont seem to realize is that capitalism is in direct opposition to democracy. Capitalism is ruled by the wealthy few. And when they own the media, they can spread whatever lies they want, run whatever candidates they want, and then offer us the 'choice' of pepsi or coke. The corporate owned GOP or the corporate owned DNC. America is a failed democracy, and an actual plutocracy.
