  1. The problem was, it wasn't disastrous. The irrational panic made it a disaster. If he would have just calmed down, they would have been fine. I see this all the time. People panicking over nothing. And when one person starts to freak out, it spreads. It's really frustrating to deal with. They just make the situation so much worse than it needs to be. I've had to yell at people like they are children. Telling them to calm down and shut it.

  2. ​​ @daviddixon6741 he climbed for no reason. He jerked the stick back and forth as far as it would go. He ignored his fellow pilots.. no, if he had done NOTHING they would have survived. Planes don't fall out of the sky cuz the auto pilot stops. They just continue on as if nothing happened. No inputs means nothing changes. If he had done nothing, they would have survived.

  4. ​ @charlesc.9012 automated systems are much safer than humans BECAUSE they don't ignore the information and do irrational things for no reason. They have pilots because people like you that dont know what they are taking about throw a fit if you don't have a poorly trained monkey behind the wheel.
