  9. @vasilijevukadinovic6843  the only thing the harpoon is good for at this point is as a coastal defence missile for a country like Taiwan. The US is building up LRASM numbers and developing the HALO missile which is expected around 2028

  12. In a war over Taiwan the Chinese navy massed up in support of the operation will be sitting ducks. Stealth bombers and other long range aircraft like B1 bomber and long range transport aircraft deploying rapid dragon plus submarines will be more important than aircraft carriers..

  13.  @jonathanshaw8868  a lot of other countries didn't bother sourcing their own rare earth metals because of cost and environment damage but that's starting to change people in positions of power are becoming increasingly aware of how dangerous it is relying on China for supply.

The US isn't 2 generations behind the LRASM is a stealth subsonic missile which has its own advantages and the US is already working on anti ship missiles with higher speeds I think one is going to be scramjet powered
