@Mortablunt there is nothing sophisticated about multiple lines of defense and minefields
13
@Deus-Gratia storm z units were slaughtered
8
@dick_richards Western forces didn't do mass wave attacks in world war two. They did in world war one and no one wanted to repeat it
6
@dick_richards NATO has never used mass wave attacks
4
@nebulongalaxus7212 It's not that NATO tactics don't work the problem is Ukraine doesn't have the weapon systems to implement the tactics
3
@jkl9984 No Russia is starting to struggle they have admitted they have ammunition shortages and their counter battery fire isn't effective
2
@nebulongalaxus7212 NATO tactics put a lot of emphasis on manoeuvre warfare and they have the weapon systems to do it. NATO going into battle is going to have huge airpower plus far more artillery and MLRS plus a far greater amount of mine clearance ability than the Ukrainian forces have. The Ukrainian simply don't have the equipment to use NATO tactics. If you look back to world war two no one was able to conduct a successful offensive against a well armed entrenched enemy without air support.
2
@mirceazaharia2094 yep agree💯
2
@mirceazaharia2094 they are thinking about those things I've read articles with senior military talking about forces having to be more dispersed because of the situational awareness everyone has now and the accuracy and power of weapons systems
2
They had to send reserves just to hold the line because their forces were exhausted they won't be launching a counter offensive
2
You have no idea of casualties so stop running your mouth
1
Bullshit you don't know the casualties from either side
1
@TrionityIr the Russian high command don't care about their troops they never have in Russia's history
1
Russian units have been getting decimated why don't you talk about that history legends
1
@vlad_47 Ukraine isn't going to disappear Russia has underestimated the Ukrainian people from day 1
1
@900distribution7 no just cold hard reality
1
@aasbcc Russia was going to attack regardless of Ukraine being in NATO. Finland is in NATO why hasn't Russia attacked them the answer is Finland has nothing they want. The real reason Ukraine was attacked is because Ukraine tried to walk away from Russia and join the west. I saw an interview with a Russian politician and he said Ukraine needed to be punished for walking away from Russia. Putin is a gangster so he plays by gangsters rules.
1
History legends you need to get Putin's ball sack out of your mouth and explain when Russia is going to win their special military operation
1
@bulldog6545 Kiev in 3 days 😂😂
1
@bulldog6545 driving into Kiev in 3 days🤦🤡
1
@bulldog6545 great cope🤡
1
@denisdenisov7623 yeah they were slaughtered the Russian leadership treat them as meat they send them in with no regard for their survival
1
@Deus-Gratia great cope. Russian soldiers have spoken about how their wounded were left where they feel. The Russians don't give a damn about their soldiers throughout their history they've conducted themselves the same way
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 Russia didn't shoot down all Ukraine's planes they're still flying. Mud had always been part of war there are times the ground is firm and the weather clear when offensives take place and times the weather conditions are no good and the combat dies down for a while. The Americans alone have a lot of artillery way more than Ukraine has and the Russians can't defeat the Ukrainian artillery
1
@inf3rnis984 what BS Ukraine doesn't use human wave attacks they can't afford to
1
@inf3rnis984 Ukraine doesn't use human wave attacks a human wave is when you send forward large numbers of infantry just charging at the enemy. The Ukrainian have been sending soldiers forward in smaller groups with armoured vehicles further back to avoid the minefields and provide overwatch with their long range cannon. Casualties are heavy on both sides the Russians tried an attack yesterday they had air support and still got a beating. One foreign Legion unit of around 30 men got ambushed and suffered 80% casualties that hasn't been happening to the foreign Legion across the whole unit.
1
@inf3rnis984 No that entire reply was me debunking the garbage you've been spewing
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 Ukraine still has plenty of artillery and the Russian units have been complaining that the Ukranian have more effective counter battery fire
1
@javylopez2513 they are training the Ukrainian in how to use the weapon systems they've been given. They also trained in basic weapon safety, first aid, clearing buildings and basic infantry manoeuvre. These Ukrainian soldiers are getting about 5 weeks training and they're off to the front
1
@southpole4776 they applied western doctrine but didn't have the equipment to apply it
1
@DobromirManchev the western doctrine is combined arms warfare which has existed since the last year of world war one
1
@maxdoom3521 NATO tactics is combined arms warfare which has been around since 1918 and history has shown it doesn't suck
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 The Russian military is full of conscripts as well both sides have taken heavy losses. Both sides also have a cadre of experienced fighters
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 why do you think the Russians had to do more troop mobilisation it's because they've suffered heavy casualties they been doing a lot of the attacking in the war which meant the Russians were out in the open. A lot of the Russian conscripts may have prior military service that doesn't mean they have prior combat experience.
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 The Ukrainian units have performed very well with the equipment they have. They have limited numbers of mine clearance vehicles and no air support which makes getting forward extremely difficult but they still made life very difficult for the Russians which is evidenced by the fact the Russians had to move their airborne reserve to the area to strengthen the line
1
@southpole4776 Russia and China does have the equipment to sustain a war with NATO no nation is equipped at the moment for a long drawn out war just as so many nations weren't prepared for world war two. Talking about optics the Russians were supposed to be the second best army in the world and they got shown up in Ukraine. The special military operation has been a disaster if Russia was facing the full force of NATO they would already have been pushed out of Ukraine.
1
@southpole4776 your deluded the Russian military has shown itself to be substandard. They engaged in a conventional war with a country they out number 4-1. They had a 10-1 advantage in airpower and couldn't even defeat the Ukranian Airforce. Their Navy has been embarrassed by a country that doesn't even have a navy. The Russian logistics is a joke.
1
@MrTitnik NATO tactics are combined arms warfare which has been used successfully since 1918 by multiple nations. The tactics are suited to the warfare and terrain you see in Ukraine the problem for Ukraine is they don't have the equipment to implement the tactics
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 they still have jets but they have to use them carefully because they've been out numbered 10-1 in the air from the start of the war.
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 yes the Russians have suffered heavy losses you're just lying to yourself. The Ukrainian soldiers in the field aren't deserting they're fighting hard and that's why Russia is struggling to gain more ground. If the Ukrainian military was as unwilling as you claim that wouldn't be the case
1
@nebulongalaxus7212 The Russians have been forcing people to report for conscription and conscription depots have been fire bombed. Men from both countries have fled overseas to avoid conscription this is a real war with real consequences not a movie
1
@Bam230lpl the situation is no different for Russia both sides have had to bring in a lot of replacements
1
@Bam230lpl The Russians can't get forward whenever they attack they take big losses in men and vehicles. They losing more armoured vehicles and artillery pieces per day than they can build. The reality is Russia is bogged down in Ukraine with no end in sight. The Ukrainian can fight in a conventional way but also gave the ability to transition to an insurgency which will suffer less casualties and be cheaper to supply long term. They have anti tank systems that can destroy any Russian armoured vehicle and they can destroy them with FVP drones that cost $500. They also have excellent snipers and as long as the Russians are in Ukraine they going to keep dying and the financial bill will keep increasing. The problem for Putin is when he has to start conscripting soldiers from the major cities these are men with good lives who don't want to die in Ukraine they won't go willingly. The cold hard reality of the war is if the Russians can't break the will of the Ukrainian people to resist Russia is going to lose the war
1
@Cccp731 your comment is so childish it's your mother that should be embarassed
1
@inf3rnis984 They gained more than a village and the Russians suffered heavy casualties as well they had to commit their airborne reserve to the area. The southern flank of Bakmut is also under pressure and it's going to give way at some point the Russians are going to have to abandon it. The Ukrainian also have got across the river further south which could pay off in a big way next year. The war is not over
1
@inf3rnis984 I didn't exaggerate anything they captured several villages in the south and they did get across the river and are enlarging the area they control there. They also captured villages south of bakmut. Russian casualties were heavy you don't commit the last of your airborne reserve to an area unless you're under severe pressure. The only one coping is you
1
@inf3rnis984 I'm not triggered you commented to me talking shit and I replied. The Ukrainian wanted to get to Tokmac and didn't make it because of the minefields and the Russians are running into the same problems. The Russians deployed their airborne reserve because they were under severe pressure you can't explain that away. The gains in the south getting over the river and on the flank south of bakmut can be built on in future operations. Keep coping 🤡🤡 and enjoy the link. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxA8boDUjkAT2atD3vlxHAEqEtLKE1EQPa?si=FLUO15ZvPP56NhbK
1
@inf3rnis984 The Ukrainian don't use Human wave attacks they were sending men forward in small groups to attack the trenches with armoured vehicles staying back to provide fire support while avoiding the minefields. If Russian casualties weren't heavy they wouldn't have committed their reserve you need to stop lying to yourself about that. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxA8boDUjkAT2atD3vlxHAEqEtLKE1EQPa?si=FLUO15ZvPP56NhbK
1
@arthurhenare3016 Bullshit
1
History legends you must not have noticed the special military operation is a complete failure you 🤡🤡
1
@dan-bz7dz Russia started this conflict they're the threat
1
@Neptune-ku1es a woman who is a propagandist for Putin said on her show about a month ago on social media they found the names of around 284,000 Russian KIA.
1
Here's some reality for the Russians https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxjhKvRWVBtvhaV_2RCoVjA61apv3AvXa6?si=qyrLfTHR_ISxEbIK
1
FVP drones have been destroying Russian equipment in big numbers as well
1
@speedyv6247 The Ukrainian have thousands of drones and they're doing a lot of damage Russia is losing armoured vehicles faster than they can build them
1
@speedyv6247 they have used a lot more than that it's become their main weapon for destroying Russian armoured vehicles
1
@speedyv6247 seriously you need to face up to the reality Ukraine is destroyed Russian armoured vehicles faster than Russia can build them. As long as Russia is in Ukraine there will be cheap drones destroying Russian armour
1
@speedyv6247 Russia has stock piles of armoured vehicles they don't have a never ending supply that's why they've been pulling T55 out of storage. The Ukrainian can destroy more armoured vehicles per month than Russia can build and do it with $500 drones. If this war drags on for years losses of armoured vehicles will become critical for Russia.
1
@thegamingmastermind2200 no victory isn't close the Ukrainian aren't going to surrender they don't want to be in the Russian Empire. If a conventional war ends the insurgency starts and the Ukranian can destroy Russian tanks and artillery with $500 dollar drones and do so faster than Russia can build them.
1
@vlad_47 the Russians have admitted their artillery is getting hammered they said their counter battery fire isn't effective
