There is a reason the Baltic states weren't attacked it's because they're in NATO.
8
Because the Russians have a lot of men and equipment they can keep pushing forward regardless of the casualties.
5
Because they have a smaller population 🙄.
5
Your numbers are simplistic artillery effect depends on accuracy and also how well protected are the defenders getting shot at. There are numerous examples in war of heavy bombardments not destroying the defenders. The Russians are attacking on a daily basis across open ground completely exposed and the Ukrainian have very accurate artillery backed up with machine gun, mortar fire and drones and it inflicts a heavy toll on the Russian infantry units. If Ukraine had taken 1.1 million KIA their wounded would be 3-5 times that. If Ukraine had suffered that number of casualties the front would have already collapsed.
5
You can fire a lot of artillery but it's effect defends on accuracy and how well dug in the soldiers being shot at are. There are numerous examples of armies laying down huge bombardments and not taking out the defenders because they were well dug in. Russia is out in the open advancing on a daily basis which exposes them to heavy casualties
5
Get Russia out of Ukraine
4
Ukraine needs to be in NATO
4
You believe the Russians have been losing on average 109 KIA everyday of the war.😂😂 They have lost more than that.
3
No they haven't lost the right to self govern and wanting to be their own country and not a vassal state of Russia isn't entitlement it's a right.
3
@janewu3178 there has never been peace in the world
2
@jumaanyongera5721Â look at Russia's behaviour since the Berlin wall fell Chechnya, Georgia, and Ukraine were attacked by Russia and they all have something in common they weren't in NATO. The Baltic states joined NATO and they haven't been attacked
2
@jumaanyongera5721Â you're deflecting rather than facing up to what Russia has been doing to its neighbours since the fall of the Berlin wall. Countries want to join NATO to get protection from Russia with good reason
2
If the Ukrainian had lost that much the line would have already collapsed.
2
5000 casualties a day that's not really realistic
2
Yep giving up your butt for money is selling your manhood and no amount of fame or money, material assets will make up for it.
2
Korea wasn't a disaster tens of millins of South Korean people living free from the oppression of the North Korean regime is proof of that
1
@01ment he was saying dead not total casualties
1
@Paketspaketami-14pf no the reason is because they're in NATO and if they get attacked article 5 will bring the rest of NATO to their aid and Putin knows it.
1
@Paketspaketami-14pf they haven't been attacked because Putin knows he will be facing NATO.
1
@Paketspaketami-14pf keep drinking the Kool Aid Chechnya didn't want to be part of Russia so they got attacked. Georgia got attacked because they were looking to go with the west. Ukraine didn't do anything to incite the 2022 invasion Putin launched that attack because Ukraine didn't want to be a vassal state of Russia.
1
@Paketspaketami-14pf yeah keep telling yourself that your boy Putler will find himself in an even bigger mess than he's in now if he's dumb enough to try it
1

@kemranisaev No just get out full stop. Russia thinks they have the right to force Ukraine to be a vassal state of Russia and they don't . They don't give a damn about the Ukrainian people they just want their land and resources
1
@kemranisaev No just get out full stop the Ukrainian have the right to dictate their own future they have no obligation to be a vassal state of Russia
1
@kemranisaev It's the Russians who are messing around thinking they have the right to force smaller countries to be vassal states of Russia.
1
@kemranisaev no the Russians can just get out they think they have the right to force smaller countries to be vassal states of Russia their arrogance defies belief.
1
Russia wants Ukraine to be a vassal state of Russia they don't want Ukraine to be neutral.
1
America was an isolationist country in the 1930's and it didn't stop the country getting involved in world war two
1
@Henry-n3v it does make sense Russia is constantly attacking in the open
1
@Henry-n3v it does make sense the russian forces are constantly attacking in the open.
1
Yes it is trust worthy because the Russians are launching frontal assaults on a daily basis with no regard for Casualties their forces are completely exposed when they attack
1
Putin negotiating with Ukraine " give me your land do what ever i want and we will get on great"
1
@tu1469 BS if Ukraine lost 800K dead the line would have collapsed.
1
@tu1469 Russia is out in the open constantly attacking completely exposed it drives their casualties up. Having more artillery doesn't automatically equate to more casualties it depends how accurate it is and how well dug in the defenders are..
1
@DogeHodler25 Ukraine is a smaller country
1
@DogeHodler25 you see footage of Russians lying all over the battle field they're getting sent forward in meat wave attacks everyday completely exposed which always results in heavy casualties. The Russians can replace their losses easier because they're a bigger country they can suffer more casualties than their enemy and keep advancing. The Russians have always been an attritional army using mass to wear their opponents down
1
Russia has never cared about the Ukrainian people they deleted millions of them in the 1930's. Russia just wants Ukraine as a vassal state so they can control Ukraine's resources
1
Russia doesn't give a damn about the Ukrainian people.
1
@memishelkin8055 yes but they didn't forget that the Ukrainian artillery is very accurate and the Russians send their infantry forward like meat on a daily basis completely exposed
1
@livefree1030 Russia is sending infantry and armoured vehicles across open ground repeatedly everyday and they're taking severe casualties in those units.
1
@DQJRS rubbish the Russians have been getting slaughtered on a daily basis their infantry units admit it
1
No it's not official if Ukraine had taken one million casualties the line would have collapsed.
1
How would you know?
1
@timothylee2772 that's 10,000 dead a month for every month of 2022 from Feb to Dec. It's not accurate because that would mean another 300-500K wounded in 10 months. The Ukrainian military would have collapsed
1
@4X10S the Germans weren't even taking that many casualties per day in Stalingrad and Normandy I don't believe the numbers
1
@levthelion the Russians have a bigger population they can absorb more casualties
1
No they haven't lost the right to self govern.
