@kelvin-2204 What about it they're in international waters just like the Chinese ships are
9
Who says Australians are scared it's China that tried to tell other countries they can't sail through the Taiwan strait and South China Sea which are international shipping lanes and it's china constantly harassing the Philippines. It's time China showed some respect.
4
@mokulashi The South China Sea and the Taiwan strait are international shipping lanes anyone can sail through there. The rules of the sea allow ships to sail anywhere in the world as long as they're in international waters. It's china that started this acting like they have the right to say who can sail through the south china sea and the Taiwan strait maybe it's time they stayed out of the South Pacific and any other part of the world that their not invited.
4
The South China Sea and the Taiwan strait aren't in dispute they internationally recognised shipping lanes
3
Then go buy off them clown
3
@accn66 Australia isn't complaining and neither is New Zealand both governments have already said china is in international waters and within the law
3
@accn66 I'm not Australian I live in New Zealand The New Zealand and Australian governments have already said the Chinese are in international waters and doing nothing wrong they just said they wanted more notice before live fire exercises were conducted so flights could be diverted
2
No it's not they tried to tell other countries they couldn't sail through the Taiwan strait and South China Sea which are international shipping lanes. They're also constantly harassing the Philippines.
2
@house2homeplus511 You sail through the south Pacific whenever you want and it's nowhere near China so don't complain when western ships sail through the south china sea and the Taiwan strait
2
We don't have to reflect on anything it's China that needs to reflect they tried to tell countries they can't sail through the south china sea and the Taiwan strait which are international shipping lanes and they're constantly harassing the Philippines
2
@cyansadventures funny you must not have noticed the US ships shooting down houthi missiles. The New Zealand and Australia governments have already said the Chinese are in international waters and within the law
1
Clown it was china who started this telling other countries they can't sail through the Taiwan straight and the south china sea which are international shipping lanes and the ships weren't even doing live fire exercises They're also constantly harassing the Philippines..
1
Australian politicians have already been on TV saying they're in international waters and doing nothing illegal
1
It was china that started this trying to tell other countries militaries they couldn't sail through the Taiwan strait and South China Sea but thought they should be able to go wherever they want
1
@Jandan-k7m China isn't welcome in the South Pacific but it doesn't stop you trying to take over the region so don't complain when other militaries sail through your areas
1
@itigawa yes and don't complain when people sail through your areas and stop harassing others nations aircraft
1
@itigawa the media blow it out of proportion because they need news
1
@니도끼가금도끼냐 🤡🤡🤡🤡

New Zealand and Australia need to develop underwater drones with a range of at least 1000KM and a warhead the size of a torpedo. The Ukrainian have already developed this tech. The drones will be far cheaper than a ship and could sink even the biggest ships. It will give us an asymmetrical weapon to use against bigger adversaries.
1
Well they're buying 200 LRASM anti ship missiles if China decides they want to fck around and find out
1
The Australian government already said the Chinese are in international waters and not breaking any laws. It's the Chinese government that tries to tell other countries they can't sail through the Taiwan straight and South China Sea and they also constantly harass the Philippines.
1
No they won't stop they want to rule the South Pacific they just went behind the New Zealand governments back negotiating a deal with the Cook Islands
1
Australian politicians have already been on TV saying China is in international waters and not breaking any laws
1
@JJH-t2d no they're not
1
China doesn't give a damn about countries in the south western Pacific they want hedgemoney over the area
1
They don't conduct live fires exercises in those areas
1
Yes it is
1
It was china that tried to tell people where they could and couldn't sail their ships
1
Yeah and western ships will continue sailing through the Taiwan strait and South China Sea get used to it
1
We sail through there we don't do live fire exercises
1
@jianzhong852 you seem to think everyone needs an invitation to sail through the Taiwan strait and South China Sea
1
@jianzhong852 neither have our governments it's only the media making an issue
1
@jianzhong852 you should also be aware that your actions bring consequences and get used to seeing our ships in the South China Sea and Taiwan strait you don't run the Asia Pacific region and people aren't going to bow down to you know matter how many weapons you have your dictator is going to find that out.
1
@accn66 the Australian and New Zealand governments aren't complaining they have already said the Chinese ships are in international waters and within the laws of the sea
1
@accn66 I didn't complain I have said repeatedly china is in international waters and are obeying international law so get your facts straight before you run your mouth
