I read an article last week and a Ukrainian lieutenant in Avdiivka was talking about an artillery piece that they were using and they had two shells and no gunpowder so they couldn't do anything. Another interview with a grad operater said they normally would fire a 40 rocket salvo but ammunition had got so scarce they had to fire one rocket then stop.

  3.  @TheDrAstrov  ammunition shortages have a major effect on battles with out ammunition you're going to be defeated

  4.  @TheDrAstrov  they are short of all artillery shells and this is an artillery war and they also have no air defence for the forward units. You need heavy artillery and mortar fire combined with machine guns and snipers to stop the numerically superior Russian forces.

  13.  @ErraticFaith  No the aim was to overthrow the Kiev regime that's why a huge armoured column was advancing on Kiev. The reason Putin hasn't done a mass mobilisation is because he knows if middle class and wealthy Russians start going home in body bags it could threaten his regime. He's only sending the poor at this point
